Are these the true species?
Yes - each botanical is named to species and origin: Salvia apiana and Salvia azurea from Mexico, Bursera graveolens from Peru. Much of what is sold as sage or palo santo is not named at all.

Is the palo santo cut from living trees?
No. It is fallen wood, gathered from the forest floor and left to age until the aromatic resin forms - the aging is what makes the wood worth burning.

What is the difference between the two sages?

How long does the set last?
