Four palo santo sticks (4-inch) - Bursera graveolens from Peru, the same naturally aged wood as the Palo Santo Collection. Smoulders rather than burns; self-extinguishes; relights for multiple sessions.

One White Sage bundle (4-inch) - Salvia apiana, California. Tightly bound dried sage leaves that burn slowly when lit at one end.

Ashta Sugandha Stupa incense sticks - handcrafted in the Kathmandu Valley workshop using the same lineage that produces the Stupa Collection. The name translates from Sanskrit as "eight fragrances" - a classical workshop blend combining eight aromatic substances in proportions established by the Newar craft tradition.

Lavender Essential Oil (10 mL) - distilled from Lavandula flowers, the most widely used aromatic of the Lamiaceae family. Soft, floral, herbaceous; one of the few essential oils with a broad enough safety profile to apply to skin with minimal dilution (though carrier-oil dilution is still recommended).

Three tumbled mineral specimens - small polished stones, each from a different mineral family:

• Rose Quartz - a variety of quartz (silicon dioxide, Mohs hardness 7), coloured pink by trace iron and manganese, sometimes by titanium inclusions. Major sources: Brazil, Madagascar, India.

• Moss Agate - a variety of chalcedony (microcrystalline silica, Mohs 6.5–7) with green dendritic mineral inclusions - usually chlorite or hornblende - that create moss-like patterns within the translucent quartz matrix. Not technically a banded agate despite the name; the trade convention has held for centuries. Major sources: India, USA, Uruguay.

• Carnelian - a variety of chalcedony, coloured red-orange by iron oxide impurities. One of the longest-established adornment minerals in Arabian and Khaleeji jewelry tradition; set into silver and bronze across the Arabian Peninsula and Mesopotamia for thousands of years. Major sources today: India, Brazil, Uruguay.

Palo santo sticks and White Sage bundle:

1. Hold the tip to a flame until it catches.
2. Blow the flame out - the bundle or stick smoulders.
3. Place in a heat-safe vessel or hold over a dish to catch ash.

Ashta Sugandha Stupa incense:

1. Light the tip until the incense catches.
2. Blow the flame out so the stick smoulders.
3. Place upright in a heat-safe holder.

Lavender Essential Oil:

1. Diffuser: 1–2 drops in an ultrasonic diffuser water reservoir.
2. Skin: dilute 1–2 drops in 10 mL of carrier oil before application.
3. Mist: 1–2 drops in a spray bottle with water; shake before use.

Tumbled mineral specimens: display items. Keep dry and away from harsh chemicals; the specimens are stable but bench-grade minerals benefit from gentle handling. A soft dry cloth removes dust as needed.

Carnelian is one of the longest-established adornment minerals in Arabian and Khaleeji jewelry tradition. Its warm red-orange tone has been worn across the Arabian Peninsula and Mesopotamia for thousands of years - set into silver and bronze in pre-Islamic Arabian metalwork, continued through Islamic-era goldsmithing, and still visible in contemporary Khaleeji jewelry. The stone is a variety of chalcedony - microcrystalline silicon dioxide - with its colour produced by iron oxide impurities at the structural level. Historically also sourced from the Arabian Peninsula itself; today the principal commercial supply comes from India, Brazil, and Uruguay. Of all the components in this kit, carnelian carries the deepest geographic resonance with the catalogue's primary audience.
